Jessamyn Tuttle

I grew up in the Wenatchee Valley in Washington State and now live north of Seattle in the beautiful, agricultural Skagit Valley with my husband, four cats, and a lot of houseplants. I earned a degree in Geology from Carleton College in Minnesota, and have studied at Photo Center Northwest in Seattle. I worked as a reference and collections librarian for many years and am now enjoying the opportunity to photograph and write about the amazing area I live in.

In addition to fine art, editorial and commercial photography, I write about food, gardening and agriculture for local publications, play Celtic music with my family’s band, make handwoven scarves and other fabrics, and volunteer as a Skagit County Master Gardener. I have shown my work in solo and group shows around the Northwest, and my photographs and writing have appeared in web and print publications across the country. When we get to start having art shows again, you can visit this site for show dates or my Facebook page for occasional updates and announcements. You can also follow me on Instagram for a steady supply of cats and kayaking photos!
